Your secret keys

Keyring 2FA computes codes entirely in your web browser. Secret keys and QR images you add are processed on your device and are never sent to our server or anyone else's. The site has no backend code that could receive them.

What is stored on your device

Third-party resources

The page loads fonts from Google Fonts and two open-source libraries (jsQR for reading QR codes and qrcode-generator for drawing them) from public CDNs. Those providers can see that your browser requested the files, as with any website, but they never receive your keys.

Cookies and tracking

Keyring 2FA sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.

Hosting logs

Like any website, the hosting provider may keep standard request logs such as IP address and page requested. These logs never contain your keys.
